“One day Krishna, His brother Balarama and all of their friends left the village early in the morning and headed off to the forest.
The scent of sweet flowers filled the air. The grass was fresh and plentiful for the cows to graze on.
Krishna said to Balarama, “Dear Brother, these trees which are so full of fruits and flowers are bending down, reaching Your feet and offering themselves to You. Look at the peacocks, see how they are dancing before You.”
This story is adapted from the writings of Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, by Kalindi dasi Hayes “Kids for Krishna playtime books” 2003.
